1980s Garden Table Before
Sun, rain, snow, this table has seen it all. Sadly the newer version of the table is not made a sturdy as this older one. So the customer asked if I could help save it for them.
1980s Garden Table After
After a good sanding back, the full extent of the water damage was revealed. Rotten planks were hollowed out and re filled, screws were changed and braces were added to strengthen the legs and seats. A waterproof stain was used to seal the wood leaving the table looking like new.
Kitchen Top Before
This solid oak top was badly water damaged around the sink area and nail glue had been spilt on the breakfast bar. The customer was previously told that the kitchen top needed removing and replacing as it could not be saved. Martin had other ideas...
Kitchen Top After
After a good sanding, A water stain remover was used to lighted the damaged darker wood that was still visible. All of the marks on the unit were now not visible. A top coat of Osmo Top Oil was used for its waterproof properties and food hygiene rating. Needless to say, the customer was happy.
Tool Restoration Before
This Record No 52E has ceased and was rusted, Its not made of wood I hear you shout. Well, the clap is made of wood and needed sanding, so I took on the job.
Tool Restoration After
By the power of brown sauce, Brasso, oil, some elbow grease and a lick of paint. This clamp was as good as new. Even the quick release clamp was working.
Oak Door Before Restoration
This oak door had previously been restored by someone else. It was full of white filler and still badly damaged.

After removing the white filler, colour matching filler was added to the imperfections, After a good sanding the door was sealed with Danish oil to match all of the other doors.

This 1960's Club Dance Floor was badly chipping after years of variations of Lacquer and polish were added to the surface. AS the old Dance Floors were made with veneer and chip bard the whole floor had to be hand sanded.

After finishing with Pallmann x98 a durable and environmentally friendly lacquer, the floor looked amazing. Ready for the weekend and more for memories to be made on it dancing the night away.

This commercial floor had been previously used a badminton court and the council wanted me to revive it to its former glory.

The white lines were a pain to get out but after a lot of sanding the floor was ready to shine again, Needless to say the badminton group sadly had to move halls. natural tomes of the floor just shone.
